Today, Summit 7 Systems announced that Principal Architect and Managing Partner, Ben Curry, has been awarded Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in the category of SharePoint Server for the seventh consecutive year. Microsoft presents this award to individuals identified as exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others.

“I am honored to be recognized by Microsoft as a MVP for the seventh year,” said Curry. “I look forward to continuing to contribute to the Microsoft community and mentoring others to solve their toughest business challenges.”

As a leader within the Microsoft community, Ben has presented as a Keynote Speaker for many SharePoint conferences and has authored numerous publications focused on knowledge management, ECM and collaborative technologies, including the SharePoint 2013 Administrator book to be released in June. Ben’s philosophy is that the best solutions are inspired by the best ideas and he encourages his team to continuously generate and share ideas.

“Ben has unique passion for creating and deploying new solutions that align technology with our clients long-term business objectives,” said Scott Edwards, President and Managing Partner. “We are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and he has truly earned the recognition each year.”

The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) is the highest award given by Microsoft to those it considers the best and brightest from technology communities around the world who actively share their technical expertise with the community and with Microsoft. Candidates are rigorously evaluated for their technical expertise, community leadership, and voluntary community contributions for the previous year.
