Press release: Ben Curry and Paul Robichaux Renewed as Microsoft MVPs

Ben Curry and Paul Robichaux Renewed as Microsoft MVPs

April 7, 2015 – Huntsville, AL.  Today, Summit 7 Systems, a business and technology solutions provider, announced that managing partner, Ben Curry, and principal architect, Paul Robichaux, have been renewed as Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) for 2015. This is Ben’s 9th MVP award (7 in SharePoint, 2 in Office 365), and he is currently one of approximately 114 Office 365 MVPs in the world.  Paul is a 13-time recipient of this prestigious recognition and is one of 101 Exchange Server MVPs globally.

The MVP title is not a certification; rather, it is an honorary title bestowed on individuals whom Microsoft considers to be experts within a specific Microsoft software application and who freely share their knowledge. MVPs engage directly with Microsoft product teams, often receiving private information about Microsoft product roadmaps and upcoming features, to provide direct, independent feedback based on their real-world experience. In Ben’s case, Microsoft considers him a Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint expert. He’s authored 7 books to date and continues to contribute to the Microsoft community via training, speaking engagements, and user forums.

A well-known Exchange author and instructor, Paul has also written several books, including the most recent, Exam Ref 70-341 Core Solutions of Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 (MCSE), (published by Microsoft Press in 2015).  He has developed Exchange-related products and intellectual property for a number of major software vendors over the past 27 years and is one of the software industry’s leading experts on Microsoft Exchange. Paul continues to provide strategic guidance into product direction and development.

“Microsoft depends on its MVPs to provide unbiased feedback on their products and technologies, “ says Scott Edwards, President, Summit 7 Systems. “With two MVPs leading our SharePoint, Exchange, and Office 365 work, we’re able to tell Microsoft what their customers really need based on our real-world experience, and at the same time we can give our customers the latest guidance and information as Microsoft develops and ships new products.  Congratulations Ben and Paul!”
